Gift card vs direct game top-up: what is the difference?
Digital gaming products can look similar while behaving very differently. A store wallet card adds redeemable account credit; a subscription grants a period of service; a direct top-up adds specific currency or items.
Start with the account
With a gift card, the recipient usually redeems a code into an eligible store account. A direct top-up may instead require a player ID, username or account selection and can be fulfilled without a traditional redemption code.
Understand the product type
Subscriptions may have separate eligibility requirements, such as a valid account country, an existing membership or a plan type that supports gift codes. Always compare the product format and not only the face value.
Make a confident choice
Choose wallet credit if you want flexibility, a subscription for a defined service period, and a top-up when you know the correct game account and desired currency.
GiftNovio is currently a discovery preview and is not selling digital codes. Product listings and issuer policies can change; use the official issuer rules for the exact item.
